Imagine the scene.
I was typing on my laptop in my room in halls and suddenly there was a little explosion from the floor. Smoke rose from underneath the desk and the room filled with a vulgar stench of burnt plastic.
The power pack on my laptop decided it wanted to explode. Marvellous.
So now I have 57 minutes of battery life to last me until next week; just when I have lots of deadlines for work. The timing could not have been better.
However, I have since copied the important documents to my USB stick, so I can work elsewhere. I'm writing this from the cluster of computers in hall. What a treat!
